Akoli - Selianitika
The coastal settlements of Akoli and Selianitika are located in the north-west Peloponnese, at the Municipality of Aegialia in the prefecture of Achaia. They are in a distance of 7 km from Aigio, 35 km from Patras, and 55 km from the historical Kalavrita.
Selianitika were popular for their thermal springs, and have been characterized as a “tourist site” by the Greek Government since 1976. At Selianitika you will find a beautiful beach with fine pebbles and clean waters, restaurants, taverns, cafe-bars, rooms to let, hotels, cinema, shops, regional clinic and a 5 X 5 football court.
The settlement of Akoli is considered by many as the HAMPTONS of Achaia, and it hides a special gem: the unique named beach of Akoli (Avithos) with its crystal clear and deep waters. Akoli has also restaurants, taverns, bars, rooms to let and hotels, a football and a tennis court.
At the end of the east side of the coastal zone, you will find beach volley and kite-surfing facilities.
The east side of the coastal zone is pedestrianized (as are several streets in Akoli) and has a large parking lot to serve visitors.
The enchanting combination of mountain and sea, the crystal clear waters and the hospitality of the locals will impress you!
